Shatvil Solutions has an uncuffed tracheostomy tube that does not have a cuff at the end of the tube. If the patient does not require that the air from the ventilator be monitored and measured and can tolerate uncuff tube without respiratory distress, then a uncuffed tracheostomy tube may be placed.
